(10) The Age of Ai Documentary

Human beings are a powerful and beautiful form of life. We are intelligent and by chance, surpassed our neighbors in the animal kingdom. Over years and years of robust history, the good and the bad and the ugly had led us through insanity. That is the best way to put it at least. Only just recently has man been able to hold onto such technological power and advancement, and it has gotten us to the point of AI. In the documentary, Age of AI, they talk in depth about the truth of this technology, and that a lot of the reality of the situation isn't quite what meets the AI (haha get it ai sounds like eye if you read it like you're in third grade).

To break down its importance, AI acts like a super search engine at times, being able to calculate almost anything and curate results for whatever your input may be. Its performance has been proven to be phenomenal. Many impressive things can be done with AI that were almost impossible before, aside from simple searches. As this tech develops, it partially improves itself, always getting better rapidly. In my personal age range, people have been abusing its power to get by in school or in jobs, as that's just simply how impressive AI has gotten.

Truly, corners are being cut with this technology. Time is being overlooked. In the grand scheme of things, humans as a race are not built for such technology, something this advanced could be our doom. In the video, they mention how jobs will easily be replaced by these AI, and that people need to understand the technology better before we continue to go gung-ho with its progression if we want to keep jobs as they are. Machines in general can do a lot of things man can do, so imagine it with Ai. Doubled down with EVEN LESS jobs, which is the opposite of what a society needs right now. Privacy cannot be guaranteed with such technologies; there have already been leaks in today's society because of these. Identity and protection online is a must, and in today's society we stray further and further away from desiring such privacy. Ai can now copy faces and voices with multitudes of identification technology, resulting in things like deep fakes. In addition to the already frightening guarantee flip of societal roles, if a smart AI becomes sentient, we would be entirely wiped out in seconds.

I think you should think about the times in your life when you have used Ai, and reflect on if you would use it after furthering your understanding on how deadly this could be for us. It is clear that the cons outweigh the pros at this time in our life. Is it clear to you?
